Aspen/Snowmass, Colo. (March 1, 2016) — Anderson Ranch Arts Center, a premier art making destination and catalyst for critical dialogue in the contemporary art world, announces the promotion of Ashley Todey to Deputy Director.
In her expanded role, Todey will assist the Executive Director in overall management of Anderson Ranch with responsibilities focused on leadership, strategic planning, program management and operations. She will continue to manage the Ranch’s popular Summer Series: Featured Artists & Conversations and to oversee relations with the organization’s Board of Trustees.
“Ashley has proven herself to be an outstanding strategic thinker and a builder of excellent relationships on behalf of the Ranch,” notes Nancy Wilhelms, Executive Director of Anderson Ranch Arts Center. “She is a strong leader, and it is a pleasure to announce her new position.”
Todey has over 10 years of professional experience in the nonprofit and consumer visual arts sectors. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia in art history and was most recently Anderson Ranch’s Special Projects Manager & Board Liaison, spearheading the establishment of the Summer Series as an important program in the contemporary art world, in addition to overseeing Board of Trustees relations. Todey is a leading advocate for public art in the Roaring Fork Valley, serving five years on the Carbondale Public Arts Commission (CPAC), including three as the chair. Prior to joining Anderson Ranch in 2011, Todey worked at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Ga., and ran her own art consulting company.
