As swanky Aspen, Colo., deals with the fallout of the pandemic, the local Anderson Ranch Arts Center is helping the medical community there.
The center — chaired by Sue Hostetler, editor-in-chief of Art Basel magazine — is using its 3-D printer and on-site artists to create face shields and ventilator parts. Art world heavyweights flock to the beloved 54-year-old institution every summer to see the likes of Ai Weiwei, Frank Stella and the Haas brothers.
We’re told at least 400 sets of protective equipment are being manufactured.
