DATES: August 10 – 14, 2015

SKILL LEVEL: II – III

CONCEPT: This workshop is a must for anyone interested in portraiture. Do your images truly express your artistic vision? If not, let two of the nation’s most respected digital photography pioneers work with you. This hands-on workshop explores portraiture with on-location shooting in addition to studio imaging and printing. Much of the class is dedicated to one-on-one instruction, ensuring that all individual questions and concerns are addressed.

MEDIA & TECHNIQUES: Students practice advanced portrait shooting techniques, natural lighting tactics, editing and sequencing work. In-studio fine-art imaging workflow, color calibration, color management, advanced imaging techniques, output options, substrate choices, permanence issues and marketing art are included.

ACTIVITIES: We shoot on location with models at amazing Colorado locales. Short lectures outlining critical issues such as color management and workflow happen daily.
