Intrigued by depth, space and color on a flat surface, Dave Durrance began his series, Multiples, at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center during a studio intensive painting workshop with David Hornung. Durrance’s works capture large-scale images onto multiple canvases, drawing the eye in multiple directions. Working in various colors, from a bright orange, deep blue to a pastel lavender, the exhibition brightens the walls of the gallery.
