Matthew Monteith earned an M.F.A. from the Yale School of Art and is the recipient of the Rome Prize, a Fulbright and a Pollock Krasner fellowship. His monograph, Czech Eden, was published by Aperture and his work has been widely exhibited. He is a professor at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
Julian Watts has spent years apprenticing with fine furniture makers in San Francisco. These influences inform his approach to woodcarving, which blurs the line between functionality and sculptural form. Julian’s work is represented by BDDW and Patrick Parrish Gallery in New York, and is exhibited internationally.
