Catherine Opie is a professor of photography at UCLA. Her work has been exhibited extensively throughout the United States, Europe and Japan including a mid-career survey at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York in 2008. She was a recipient of The Smithsonian’s Archives of American Art Medal in 2016. Catherine’s recent and upcoming solo exhibitions include Thomas Dane, London, Regen Projects, Los Angeles and Lehmann Maupin Hong Kong and New York.
