National Council Members toured top gallery shows in New York City led by expert art advisor, Lowell Pettit. The tour was followed by a cocktail reception with artist Angel Otero in his Brooklyn studio.
We had a very enjoyable & informative time for a portion of 2 days in NYC w/ Anderson Ranch in October. Contemporary art maven, Lowell Pettit, gave us a most entertaining whirlwind tour of some fine top-tier galleries showing hot established as well as emerging artists, & regaled us with his clip-speed story-telling of the art world’s most colorful people & places. And a morning visit to the Brooklyn studio of soaring young artist Angel Otero was a great excursion made possible by the Kavi Gupta Gallery of Chicago, who thought Anderson Ranch’s collectors important enough to send the dealer to Brooklyn to greet us.
