Summer is upon us as another amazing week goes by at the Ranch! The Haas Brothers continue to create pieces of furniture, ceramics and prints. Tuesday evening we had the privilege of viewing a slideshow presentation featuring works of our Summer 2016 Interns (below). We are thrilled to have these young artists at the Ranch! On Thursday Executive Director Nancy Wilhelms and Artistic Director of Painting, Drawing, & Printmaking Liz Ferrill visited the studio of Lloyd Schermer. Lloyd’s art career as a sculptor began at age 66 after taking his first course at Anderson Ranch. A retrospective of his work goes on display June 10th at the Ann Korologos Gallery in Basalt, CO. Workshops begin next week, and we can’t wait!
