A wonderful last week of the summer workshop season! Christian Rex van Minnen and Ralph Scala continued to explore the grotesque, creating figurative sculptures out of clay. Doug Casebeer was working traditionally, teaching students pottery making on the wheel. Artistic Director of Sculpture Jose Ferreira guided students in building large-scale metal works with plaster and paper mache. Painting and Printmaking colorfully discovered oil paints, contemporary approaches to subject matter and monotypes. We look forward to seeing you for September Intensive workshops!
