Celebrate art, culture, and community on Saturday, September 16th from 1 to 5PM at the Festival del Rancho! Come together to celebrate Latinx/e and Hispanic culture through art, dance, music, food, and more!

The afternoon will be filled with live music by SONTRES, a Denver-based Salsa, Cumbia, and Merengue band, as well as dancing with interactive performances by Mezcla’s Ensemble, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, the Roaring Fork Divas, and DJ Joeli Villa throughout the afternoon. Kids of all ages can make tissue paper flowers, hojalata ornaments, and engage in our community booths hosted by the Aspen Music Festival and School and the Basalt Regional Library. 

Enjoy free lunch by Axkawa: Señor Taco Show followed by sweet treats for dessert by Colorado Fruit Design. And if that wasn’t enough, the beautiful and poignant artwork of Visiting Artists Maria De Los Angeles and Ronald Rael will be available for viewing in the Patton-Malott Gallery.

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is appreciated.

Parking:

Free event parking is available at Anderson Ranch.  Additional public parking is available at the Two Creeks Lot and Rodeo Lot with continuous Snowmass Village shuttles to and from the Ranch. There is currently construction on Brush Creek Road that may impact travel times. 

Performance Line Up: 

1:15 – 1:50PM:  Mezcla Socials Dance Lesson

2– 3PM:  SONTRES Band; Serving rhythms of salsa, cumbia, merengue and more!

3:15 – 4PM:  Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Folklórico

4:15 – 5PM:  Dance Party with DJ Joeli with performances by Mezcla’s Ensemble and Roaring Fork Divas

Sábado 16 de septiembre, de 1:00pm a las 5pm

 

¡Celebra el arte, la cultura y la comunidad el sábado 16 de septiembre de 1 a 5PM en el Festival Del Rancho! Unámonos para celebrar la cultura Latinx/e e Hispana a través del arte, la danza, la música, la comida, ¡y mucho más!

 La tarde estará llena de música en vivo con SONTRES, una banda de salsa, cumbia y merengue con sede en Denver, así como de baile con presentaciones interactivas del Ensamble de Mezcla, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, las Roaring Fork Divas, y DJ Joeli Villa durante toda la tarde. Los niños de todas las edades podrán hacer flores de papel de seda, adornos de hojalata y participar en nuestras casetas comunitarias organizadas por el Festival y Escuela de Música de Aspen y la Biblioteca Regional de Basalt.

 Disfrute de un almuerzo gratuito de Axkawa: Señor Taco Show, seguido de dulces de postre de Colorado Fruit Design. Y por si fuera poco, las hermosas y conmovedoras obras de arte de los artistas visitantes María De Los Ángeles y Ronald Rael podrán contemplarse en la Galería Patton-Malott.

El evento es gratuito y está abierto al público.

Estacionamiento:

Hay estacionamiento gratuito para eventos disponible en Anderson Ranch. Hay estacionamiento público adicional disponible en Two Creeks Lot y Rodeo Lot con servicio de traslado continuo a Snowmass Village hacia y desde el Rancho. Actualmente hay obras en Brush Creek Road que pueden afectar los tiempos de viaje.
