Sunday and Tuesday evenings, June through September, Anderson Ranch features a slideshow presentation by distinguished faculty members and visiting artists. These insightful talks dive into the artists’ inspiration, their creative process, and more.
This presentation is free and open to the public and is available in person or via livestream.
Registration is appreciated. All on-campus workshop students will be pre-registered for this event.
Speaker
Luc Hammond-Thomas
Luc Toshiro Hammond-Thomas is a ceramic artist based in Brooklyn, NY. He currently works as the director of ceramics at Tom Sachs studio and is part of the faculty at Greenwich House Pottery and BKLYN Clay. He holds a BFA in fine arts from Alfred University.
Lane Preston
Studio Coordinator, Furniture Design and Woodworking
Lane Preston, originally from Houston, Texas, received his BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with an emphasis in Photography and Sculpture in 2016. After graduation he worked as an exhibitions coordinator and photographer for art and design galleries to put on exhibitions all over the world. In 2021, he went to Florence, Italy, for his MFA in Furniture Fabrication and Design, after teaching abroad for two years.
