Sunday and Tuesday evenings, June through September, Anderson Ranch features a slideshow presentation by distinguished faculty members and visiting artists. These insightful talks dive into the artists’ inspiration, their creative process, and more.
This presentation is free and open to the public and is available in person or via livestream.
Registration is appreciated. All on-campus workshop students will be pre-registered for this event.
Speaker

Philip Read
Phil Read was born in London, England. He earned an MFA in Studio Painting and Critical Theory, and studied Interdisciplinary Art and Chemical Engineering with a Major in Microbiology. He has 35 years of Chinese ink painting experience, and currently works in studios between New York City and Jingdezhen, China. He has attended residencies in Italy, China, Taiwan, and Turkey.

J. Leigh Garcia
J. Leigh Garcia was born and raised in Dallas, TX. Garcia received her MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and BFA from the University of North Texas. Garcia currently lives in Knoxville, TN where she is an associate professor of Printmaking at the University of Tennessee.
