Tree Art Installation and Interactive Light Show
Dec 16 - Feb 1, 2021 4-9PM
Anderson Ranch Arts Center
Join us on the Anderson Ranch campus to kick off the winter season with a special artist-inspired tree art installation and interactive LED light display, in partnership with our friends from the Town of Snowmass Village and Twinkly.
From December 16 to February 1, the Ranch will be open to the public every day from 4-9PM for tree light viewing. Visitors are welcome to walk through the outdoor areas of campus and see a variety of trees, decorated by six commissioned Roaring Fork Valley artists, inspired by a variety of things like molecules, disco, reflection and even “The Queen’s Gambit”. Also on display, an interactive light installation with 20,000 Twinkly lights, which are programmed into special light shows.
Don’t just view the lights, be a part of the show and design your very own custom light display! Guests will be provided an iPad and safely guided by an Anderson Ranch staff member through the design process – the possibilities are limitless and open to all ages. Please contact [email protected] or call our Welcome Center at 970/923-3181 to register. These private, complimentary tours will be limited to single households of six people or less. Time slots are available in 30-minute increments from 4-6PM, Monday through Friday.
The artists participating in our tree art installation are below:
Mark Cesark
Cate Johnson

State and local health and safety guidelines will be in place and masks are required on the Anderson Ranch campus.
