Location & Hours
Located just 15 minutes from Aspen, Anderson Ranch Arts Center has served as the artistic and cultural hub of the Town of Snowmass Village since 1966, providing time and space to artists – from beginners to experienced practitioners – to create, discuss and discover.
The Ranch is open from 9AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday.

The Café is a social hub where students and visitors gather to discuss ideas, plan for new creative experiences, and reflect on shared teachings. Join us for a beautiful buffet lunch offering fresh salads and rotating hot items.

Nestled among the pristine peaks of the Rocky Mountains in Snowmass Village, Colo., the Anderson Ranch Arts Center campus is comprised of 14 ranch buildings on five beautifully kept acres. For 50 years, the Ranch has been a destination and a welcoming community for art makers and art enthusiasts, providing time and space for artists—of all levels—to learn, create and be inspired.
We offer state-of-the-art facilities and access to world renowned faculty through our summer workshops for adults, teens and children. In addition, the Ranch hosts many public events, such as the exciting Summer Series: Featured Artists & Conversations, lively Lunchtime Auctionettes, Guest Faculty Lectures, the Recognition Dinner, the Annual Art Auction, gallery exhibits and more.

Location, Location, Location
Just 15 minutes from downtown Aspen and approximately 160 miles west of Denver, the Ranch is open from 9AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday (except major holidays). A self-guided tour brochure is available at the front desk of the Welcome Center (the Dows Barn Administrative Offices), and guests are invited to explore the Ranch during hours of operation.
