Building Layers in Monoprint

Laura Berman

Tuition $1,345
Code R0908-25

Taking an exploratory approach to image making, this workshop combines a variety of collage and printmaking techniques. Monoprint techniques are taught in combination with archival collage techniques, with an emphasis on color and printed layers. Students are encouraged to work beyond the first layer of printed imagery to create a new body of work that extends in size and has no technical limitations. With a focus on color, shape, line, and pattern, the goal of this workshop is to further each student’s image vocabulary using printmaking and collage.
